Workplace Needs Assessments

A Workplace Needs Assessment (WNA) is a practical way to identify what support will help an individual perform at their best. A formal diagnosis is not required to have an assessment, because what matters is understanding workplace challenges and finding solutions.

How we do it:

Our holistic assessments explore:

  • The individual’s role, tasks, and responsibilities
  • Their workplace environment and systems
  • Day-to-day barriers and challenges

Workplace Needs Assessments

The result:

A clear, tailored, fully costed report with actionable recommendations, which may include:

  • Assistive technology (software & hardware)
  • Environmental adjustments (workspace changes, flexible hours, quiet areas)
  • Services such as coaching, co-coaching, or awareness training
Why it matters:
  • Employees get clarity and confidence about what will help them
  • Managers and HR teams receive a clear action plan for support
  • Organisations build inclusivity while improving productivity and well-being

We deliver Workplace Needs Assessments across a wide range of industries and sectors, including transport, law, finance, healthcare, public sector, and corporate environments. We have found these can be particularly valuable for law trainees, recent graduates starting new roles, and professionals transitioning into new positions.

The benefits:
  • Helps reduce absence and presenteeism
  • Creates a fairer, more supportive, and inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure organisations comply with the Equality Act (2010)
  • Higher employee retention
  • Improve employee well-being and morale
  • Our Workplace Needs Assessments can be delivered virtually, or in person

“I’ve just had my workplace needs assessment review, and he explained more about the communication triggers I’d been experiencing in the lead up to my burnout.”
