Access To Work – Workplace Strategy Coaching

Our strategy coaching is work related and the coaching is based on ‘modelling’ our client’s experiences and transferring key skills within areas of strength to areas of weakness. Our coaching team is led by an organisational psychologist who specialises in work focused tuition that has a work bias rather than an educational slant.

The sessions are adapted to a particular individual’s needs; and are interactive.

Common Topics covered include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Planning, prioritisation and organisation

  • Managing time

  • Short-term memory skills

  • Managing stress

  • Confidence building & assertiveness

  • Communicating needs with colleagues

  • Working at your best

  • Taking notes and listening

  • Writing (organising thoughts, structuring writing)

  • Goal setting and decision making

  • Daily tasks

  • Improving patterns in paying attention and concentration

  • Spelling

  • Numeracy

  • Speed reading and improving comprehension.

  • Linear and spatial thinking skills

  • Pain Management

  • Fatigue Management
