MouseAngel is a highly adaptable and innovative software tool designed to enhance the visibility of your mouse pointer on the screen. MouseAngel improves screen accessibility and usability for individuals with various challenges, including Dyslexia, ADHD, visual impairment, and repetitive strain injury (RSI). By enhancing cursor visibility, simplifying tracking, and reducing the need for repetitive movements, MouseAngel empowers users to navigate digital environments with greater ease, comfort, and confidence.

Who Benefits from MouseAngel?

  • People with ADHD and Dyslexia: Clear, prominent cursor tracking and click visualization provide visual stability, helping users maintain focus on tasks and understand on-screen actions without losing their place.
  • Users with Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI): By making the mouse easier to locate and customising controls to avoid excessive movement, MouseAngel supports a more ergonomic interaction, minimising repetitive stress.
  • Can be used in conjunction with Dragon Medical software.
  • Individuals with Visual Processing Needs: The adjustable cursor size, colour, and keystroke visibility help users who have difficulty processing standard cursor visuals, enabling smoother screen navigation.
  • Teachers and Trainers: Helps students and trainees follow along during lessons and software demos.
  • Remote Workers and Teams: Facilitates virtual presentations, making it easy for viewers to keep up with on-screen actions during screen sharing.
  • MouseAngel is an inclusive, user-centered tool that optimizes screen navigation and accessibility, making digital spaces more comfortable and accessible for everyone

1. Enhanced Cursor Highlighting: MouseAngel offers various, customisable spotlights around the mouse pointer, making it easier to locate and follow. This feature is especially helpful for users with ADHD, dyslexia or visual impairment who may find it challenging to track small on-screen elements in busy website and document environments.

2. Click and Keystroke Visualisation: Each click, and keystroke is highlighted on-screen, reducing confusion and allowing users to see exactly where actions are taking place. Users with visual impairment benefit from these cues as they provide a clear visual reference, while users with RSI can reduce unnecessary movements by instantly locating clicks.

3. Adjustable Screen Overlays and Reading Aids: The tool provides options to mask the screen in a desired colour, provide a spotlight reading bar to increase readability focus and reduce distractions, and draw and create highlights on the screen. These are ideal for users who struggle with default colours and have difficulty following large amount of text or objects on the screen. This customisation can improve focus and ease screen navigation, especially for those with visual processing issues.

4. Keystroke Display: MouseAngel visually displays keystrokes on the screen, offering a quick way to track keyboard input. This feature is useful for people with dyslexia who may need an additional layer of confirmation, as well as for users with RSI who benefit from streamlined keyboard use without repetitive glances.

5. Mouse AutoClick: MouseAngel provides a comprehensive auto clicking feature to prevent continuous and unnecessary mouse clicks. This can be especially useful for those with RSI or similar physical impairments. Automatic clicks can be performed for all mouse functions and dragging.

6. Programmable Hotkeys for Mouse Actions: The software provides the ability to map hotkeys to mouse functions such as single, double, middle click and multiple clicks. This is especially useful to limit the amount of mouse clicks performed by a user, or to have the ability to program macros and voice scripting in other software titles such as Dragon Medical One.

7. Customisable Controls for Reduced Movement: By configuring the tool’s controls to suit specific tasks, users with RSI can reduce repetitive stress caused by searching for the cursor. Customisation options make it easy to limit unnecessary mouse movement and increase usability in their unique workflows.
