Kensington Expert Trackball Wireless Mouse

£156.00

SKU:

Kensington Expert Trackball Mouse is an ergonomic mouse designed to minimise wrist and hand movement while enhancing productivity and capability. This helps to protect against fatigue and RSI conditions, but also allows you a much better workflow thanks to its design and accompanying software. For years, graphic designers, music producers & many others have enjoyed the comfort & productivity that trackballs deliver. Now you can too.

The trackball mouse comes with TrackballWorks™ software which allows you to customise the mouse to meet your needs. The free downloadable software provides an even more personalised experience, giving you the ability to assign a wide variety of program functions to each of the 4 buttons, as well as controlling the pointer speed and scrolling speed.

Optical tracking with the mouse is highly accurate with DiamondEye™ movement detection technology providing smooth, precise cursor control. This enables highly accurate, detailed work and allows you to get where you want on the screen quickly, with less hand movement.

At the centre of the mouse is the scroll ring and trackball that provide tracking and movement functionality. You spin the dial to move up and down web pages or documents with complete ease while the ball has been specially designed with an absolute spherical, hard surface for precise tracking and control. The design is ambidextrous, so it works equally well with either hand.

A detachable wrist rest is also provided which fits neatly onto the back end of the mouse. The soft cushioning cradles your hand and wrist in ergonomic comfort for pain-free productivity during extended periods of activity on the computer

ERGONOMIC BENEFITS

The chances are you are spending a vast amount of time at work and at home using a computer for tasking and recreation. This invariably means using some form of mouse or touchpad to fulfil your duties. Over time, the focussed and repetitive movements of mouse work can lead to musculoskeletal disorders and affect your performance. This makes the mouse an incredibly important part of your workstation.

Ergonomic mice are quite diverse and one that is correctly specified will not only meet your physical needs, but also help you to optimise your workspace. The mouse will safeguard you from the risk of pain and injury and also allow you to work efficiently and accurately.

Ergonomic mice can help with conditions like Carpal Tunnel SyndromeRepetitive Strain Injury and Arthritis.
